Rates

Our fees are founded on a base rate of $125 per hour.

We offer discounts for both volume, and for long-term partnership, as follows. Travel to and from your boat is included.

  • Half-day - $450

  • Day - $800

Day Rates

  • Travel time, mileage, expenses

    • Are included in surveys on the Southcoast, Onset to Tiverton

    • To surveys beyond that area

      • Round-trip mileage is charged at the prevailing IRS rate

      • Time for one way travel, as calculated by Waze, in one hour increments, is charged at our base rate

    • Expenses are charged to owner at cost

  • Pre-purchase Survey - $32/ft

  • Condition and Value, Insurance Surveys - $25/ft

Survey Rates

  • Surveys require a completed survey contract prior to performing the survey, and payment prior to issuance of the survey report

  • Priced in full 24/7 day increments

    • Ian Duff - $500/calendar day

    • Additional crew, as needed - $400/calendar day

    • All expenses charged to owner at cost

Delivery Rates

  • Deliveries require being listed as additional insured on owner’s policy, and Certificate of Insurance depicting this in hand, prior to departure.

  • Training/Advising - $1,200 retainer

    • Decremented as used in $400 half day increments

    • Expires 12 months from purchase
